About Me

My photo
I am a mommy to two very busy, wonderful, funny, beautiful children who I have been blessed with to be their mommy. I am also the wife to a sweet, handsome guy who works hard so that I am able to work part time and stay home with our monkeys part time. Our life is never dull, and this is where I vent, share, and everything in between !

I'm still alive!!

So some of you may be wondering if I have left the blogging world...no, I just havent had as much access to a computer or the internet for awhile...and be warned I probably still wont for another week or so..
There have been a few extra bumps in the road, but at least my little family is together and that makes it easier  :)
Josh came for a week and a half and got offered two jobs (he only took one)  and we found a (small but doable) apartment. so last wknd Josh,Caleb and I headed back to delaware to load everything in the truck and bring it back here to our new place.  that went better than we thought (still dealing with the landlord but God will take care of him) we got everything moved in, signed the ease, got the keys , and then our new landlord dropped a bomb.....he reread the bylaws and found out (after okayingit) that dogs are not allowed.....since it was his error he is leaving things up to us, and while we dont want to have to get rid of Bella, we think that this will be best for us right now, not easy for Josh or athena, but we will survive!
So we have a couple of people to talk to and if they are not able or willing ti take bella indefinitely then we will expand our search...we are saying indefinitely becuase we would like to be able to get her back someday when we have our own place again, but we dont know when that will be so anyway....

I found a place yesterday that is awesome! it is a 3 bedroom 2 story includes heat and has been completely redone--new floors, carpeting, kitchen etc...we are waiting to hear this week from them, but could be in there as early as next weekend -yay-
so we may be calling some of you to help with a few of our heavier items  (please,please,please....we may even get pizza for you!)  :)

Both kids have been sick on top of all of this, so I havent been out and about much, too tired to do much of anything, and honestly the thought of moving again in less than 2 wks is a bit overwhelming, but will be so worth it!!!

Today we are hanging out at moms, playing wii and then going to christmas tree shop, I love that store so much, and can only go there once in awhile, butt we need some things so I "HAVE" to go  LOL!!!

Enjoy your weekend, and I will try to blog more, we just dont have cable or internet at our place (no sense setting it up to move again) so blogging, email and facebooking are not as frequent as I would like  :)

way too many unknown.....but a glimmer of hope!

So today, I woke up feeling really crappy- sinus congestion, cough, loss of voice tired etc....I was so thankful that 1) I didnt have to work today, and 2) my kids slept until 7:30 which is rare, but so desired!!!
as the day went on I felt a little better, but would still like to just lay in my bed and read.....those days are pretty much gone for a few years!!
I was talking to my hubby today and he had a "surprise"  after making me wait....he told me.......

hahaha...suspense it killer isnt it?  ok, he is coming to vt to visit this weekend...that is great, but the better part is that he has an interview on wednesday!!!  WE are praying that this will work out and he can start soon so we can get a place and settled back in and stuff.....
so I will keep you all posted...we do have a few prayer requests if you were wondering:
1) unless we or our landlord find someone to take over our lease march 1 we will still have to pay rent for that month whether we are there or not.
2) praise the Lord for this interview-praying that it will work out
3) we are looking for an affordable place that is a 3 bedroom in a "good"town since this fall we have school to worry about, and there are obviously a few towns that dont have the best school systems....
4) continued encouragement.  Josh has been doing really well, and I am proud of him, but a little extra encouragement never hurts!
